Please explain how to do this problem because I already have the answer as (0,4,-2)

5x+y-z=6
x+y+z=2
3x+y=4

add the first two equations:
6x+2y=8 or
3x+y=4

then subtract the third equation to get

0=0 which means there is no unique solution.

for instance (2,-2, 2) is also a solution.
