We're learning something about transformations on the exponents of a function. For exmaple 2^x becomes 2^4(x-2)+2. Would this mean that the 2^x graph stretched vertically by a factor of 4, moved two units to the right and 2 units downwards?

We're learning something about transformations on the exponents of a function. For exmaple 2^x becomes 2^4(x-2)+2. Would this mean that the 2^x graph stretched vertically by a factor of 4, moved two units to the right and 2 units downwards?
