y intercept is when x = 0
-2y = 10
y = -5
2 y = 5 x - 10
y = (5/2) x = 5
so m, the slope, = (5/2)
m'= -1/m
m' = -2/5
-2y = 10
y = -5
2 y = 5 x - 10
y = (5/2) x = 5
so m, the slope, = (5/2)
m'= -1/m
m' = -2/5

This is interesting, I got the first one correct for y = -5 because x = 0 but still do not get how you come up with 5/2 for the slope of the parallel line and the slope of the perpendicular one either? Can you please explain. Thanks!
