At Carver Elementary, there are 355 students altogether. The school has 25 more female students than males. How many males and females dose carver have?

Subtract 25 from 355. You get 330. Now divide that in 2 = 165. That means 165 boys, now add 25 to 165 = 190 girls. To check your answer add 190 + 165 and you get 355.
