how do you measure and get 4 gallons of water only having an unmarked 5 gallon bucket and an unmarked 3 gallon bucket and a large container of water
ok this is simple, u just have to think out of the bucket...heh..
so here goes
fill the 5 gallon bucket to full and pour water from it into 3 gallon bucket. now u get 2 gallons of water in the 5 gallon bucket and 3 gallons water in the three gallon bucket.throw away the water in 3 galln bucket and pour 2 gallons of water from the 5 gallon bucket into 3 gallon bucket. now u have 2 gallons water in 3 galllon bucket and an empty 5 gallon bucket.
now fill 5 gallon bucket and fill 3 gallon bucket with it.
now u have 3 gallon in 3 galln and 4 gallon in 5 gallon bucket.which is required.
