I need help with proportions. Can someone explain to methis whole mn=pq thing or x/3=4/6 I don't understand how to di it. Please help! :)

m is to n as p is to q.

m/n=p/q

you can solve for any of the four in terms of the others:
m= np/q
p=mq/n
n=mq/p
q=np/m
