A class is made up of 10 boys and 2 girls. Half of the boys wear glasses. A student is selected at random from the class. What is the probability that the student is a boy with glasses?

in general,
the probability of "some event"
= no of cases for that event/total number of cases
so in our case, there would be 5 boys with glasses, the "event"
the total number of students = 12
so the prob(boy with glasses) = 5/12
