Given this is Seventh Grade math, and I'm a former High School student the only way I was taught to solve these types of questions was to use P.E.M.D.A.S. First place your numbers in the spots that their variable is, then your going to take (29 + 16) and add them together if you're needing a whole number.
(29 + 16) / 9
If you are familiar with the P.E.M.D.A.S method you'll know to do Parenthesis first. (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction)
29 + 16 divided by 9.
but that would be
45 divided by 9
which would leave the remainder as 5.

Mathway is not accurate by the way because you are supposed to be adding 29 and 16 and then dividing by 9. I don't even know how it got some of those answers.
