Okay Sis, I think this is how you do it. The probability of NOT getting the ring in the first piece of the first cake is 9/10, and the probability of NOT getting it in the first piece of the second piece is also 9/10. I believe you multiply .9 by .9 to find your answer. However, I'm not 100% sure that is how you go about doing it. Perhaps someone else can input their knowledge on this as well.
