Here is what you need to remember:
más/menos.........que
BUT
tan + adjective + como

The first set is perfect. Now for the 2nd set:

1. tan importante como

#4. there are some irregular comparatives. For example, in English = bad, worse and in Spanish = malo, peor
son peores que (would you say bad, badder?!!)

3rd set: remember gustar means "to be pleasing TO" so you need an indirect-object pronoun to state to whom it is/or they are.....

1. A mi amigo Tyler le gusta

2. A mi amigo James le gusta

3. A mi amigo Edward le gustaN (THEY are pleasing to...)
