Which sentence looks better? (Should the commas be there?):

1. Extra food that your body doesn’t need or can’t digest travels into your large intestine & is turned into waste & eliminated from your body.

Yu could put a comma in #1 after intestine and drop & = large intestine, is turned into waste and...

OR #2 that looks fine as it is.
