New ideas are often rejected because there may not be enough information to support their idea and may not relate fully to the subject being discussed. All the details and background of ideas need to be explored before they should be accepted by other people

New ideas are usually rejected, opposed or resisted; in fact, that is the rule rather than the exception. First of all there must be a need for this idea, funding, help and proof that it is valid and workable. If the inventor had no persistence, the idea would probably drop by the wayside. Just a small success can "snowball" the idea.

i believe that new ideas were so rejected because people back then thought things they didn't know about were crazy.Or they base their knowledge off their religon and when they hear a new ideas that are not based off their beleifs they reject it.What is needed before they accept it is that if others in their religon then they start to believe it.
