What is the value of (10^3 * 10^-4)^2
I think the correct answer is supposed to be 1/100, but I don't know how to get to this point.
Thank you! :-)

in the paranthesis, 10^-4 = 1/10^4
so (10^3*1/10^4)^2
Order of operation tells you to do things in the paranthesis first
(0.1)^2 = .01
and if you convert that into a fraction
its 1/100
so (10^3*1/10^4)^2
Order of operation tells you to do things in the paranthesis first
