What myths have you learned in School?

Depending on the school, some of the myths that may have been taught include the belief that Christopher Columbus discovered America, that the Pilgrims and Native Americans celebrated the first Thanksgiving together, that the Founding Fathers were all Christian, and that the American Revolution was fought solely over taxation.
