Joel's numbers : Danny's numbers = 7:6 = 7x : 6x
Ben has three times as many as Joel, so Ben has 21x
we know 21x = 1260
x = 60

So Ben has 21x = 1260 , we know that
Danny has 6x = 360
Joel has 7x = 420
Together Joel and Danny have 780 , which btw, was the actual question.


check: Joel : Danny = 420:360 = 7:6
is 1260 three times 420 ? yes it is
