a = 5 , d = -3/2 , n = ?
term(n) = a + (n-1)d
-20 1/2 = 5 + (n-1)(-3/2)
-41/2 - 5 = -3n/2 + 3/2
3n/2 = 22 + 5 = 27
n = 18
It is term(18)
Write your mixed fractions with a space between the whole number and the fraction,
e.g. -20 1/2
I worked out the question wit -201/2, the way you typed it, and of course it did not make sense that way.
