Question

I'm writing a research report on the very first stagecoaches.
The information that I cannot find is:
Who invented it
who has improved it over the years
how and where was it originally used
If not used today, why is it not used, and what replaced it?

It appears that the stagecoach didn't have just one inventor. Like many products, it was a collaboration of several people who improved on previous animal-drawn carriages. Check these sites.
