Martha used a piece of rope that is 16 1/4 ft long to stake trees. She cut the rope into pieces that were each 3 1/4 ft long. How many pieces of rope did she use to stake trees?

16 1/4 ÷ 3 1/4
= (65/4)/(13/4)
= (65/4)(4/13)
= 5
