What would symbolize Madrid, Spain.

Like, maybe the main attraction in Madrid?

My first thought was the largest art museum in the world -- the Prado in Madrid. However, apparently a statue of a bear and a tree is the official symbol of this city. In the few days I spent in Madrid, though, I don't remember seeing it.
