The GCF of two number is 3 and the LCM is 180 if one of the number is 45. What is other number ?

GCF*LCM/one number = the other number
3(180)/45
= 12
check:
12 = 2*2*3
45 = 3*3*5
HCF = 3
LCM = 2*2*3*3*5 = 180

45 = 3 * 3 * 5
180 = 45 * 4 = 3 * 3 * 5 *2 * 2 leave the 5 out because over 3 so 9*4 = 36
so try 45 and 36

45 and 36 have HCF of 9, not 3, so go with my answer.
