Justin is 3 years older than Sam, and Justin's age in 2 years will me twice what Sam's age was 3 years ago. Find their present ages.

2 years from now:
Justin = x+3+2 = x+5

Sam's age 3 years ago = x-3

x+5 = 2(x-3)
x+5 = 2x - 6
-x = -11
