The table below lists the time and elevation of a submarine as it dives towards the ocean floor.

Elevation(Meters) -150 -450 -900 -1350 -1800

A. Using the pattern in the table, what is the elevation of the submarine after 150 minutes. -2400m
B. After 3 hours? -2700m
C. After 45minutes? -525m
D. Justify your answers with a rule(words), in the table(show) or with a function (y=?
Answer (y=-60x+10)

You have a typo in your table. Time should be 10,30,60,90,120
Then all the elevation changes after the 1st would differ by 450 consistently.
That makes D: y = -15x
