Weigh out a few grams of ZnCl2 salt, dissolve in water, add some Na2CO3 and ZnCO3 will precipitate. Filter, wash the precipitate in the paper thoroughly with water, place the ppt in a drying over @ 102 C until dry. Viola ! Done.
