Question
Am asking on how a solid sample of lead ii chloride can be prepared using the following reagents dilute nitric acid, dilute hydrochloric acid, and lead carbonate
Answers
Dissolve the PbCO3 solid in dilute HNO3 to form Pb(NO)3)2. Add dilute HCl, with stirring, until all of the PbCl2 has pptd. Filter, wash the ppt with dilute HCl followed with DI H2O. Dry the solid in an oven @ 103-105 C until dry (about two hours unless you're preparing gobs of stuff).
I like how Google answers my questions 😄
