Explain how to use the properties of numbers to simplify (-68) + 6(-99) + (-32).

(-68) + 6(-99) + (-32)
glancing at the numbers I note that -68 -32 = -100
and 6(-99)
= 6(-100 + 1
= -600 + 6

can you mentally do
-100 - 600 + 6 ?
