1 k + 2 k + 3 k = 6 k ... James' share (3k) was half of the total

As R_scott pointed out, james will get 3k out of the 6k, or 1/2 of the 16.00
which would be 8.00 exactly

OMADA's error is that 1600/6 = 2.666...
rounding that intermediate answer to 2.7 and then proceeding with that
rounded answer.
This leads to his error and the answer being off by .10
