    h=? , v=30m/s , g=10m/s^2
using v^2=u^2 + 2gh, 30^2 =2 × 10 × h
900 = 20h therefore h = 900/20 h=45

    or v = Vi + g t
30 = 10 t
t = 3
h = Hi + Vi t - (10/2) t^2
0 = Hi + 0 (3) - 5 * 9
Hi = 5*9 = 45 sure enough :)
