A large electronic retailer has been selling digital cameras for $840 each. At this price the store sells 120 per month. They determine that for every $10 discount in price, the number of sales increases by 5 each month.

you never got around to the question, but if there are x discounts applied, then revenue is price * quantity, so r(x) = (840-10x)(120+5x)
