I saw this "incorrectly typed" posting before, and pointed out the
error.
With jiskha's Search function totally not working for years, I cannot
find the post.
clearly you have 2 variables and only one equation, so there is no
unique solution.
did you mean:
(1/2)^x = 32^(x-3)
if so, then
2^-x = 2^(5x-15)
then 5x - 15 = -x
6x = 15
x = 5/2
error.
