What is the area? Composite figure composed of a square with dimensions 3 ft by 3 ft, triangle with a base of 11 ft and a height of 3 ft and rectangle with dimensions 11 ft by 3 ft.

I believe area would be 58.5 ft because you get the area of all the shapes then add them together.

can't be too hard, if you know how to find the area of each part.
triangle: 1/2 bh = 1/2 * 11 * 3
square: s^2 = 3^2
rectangle: lw = 11*3
now just add 'em up

the square would be 3 times 3. The triangle would be 11 times 3 then divided by 2 and the rectangle would be 11 times 3. then you add up the answers for each one
