Uriel is flying his kite when he realizes his kites 300 feet of string are out. The wind is blowing the kite enough so that the string is making a 50 degree angle of elevation with the ground. How high is the kite about the ground, to the nearest foot?

Your hypotenuse of the right-angled triangle is 300 ft, assuming the
string forms roughly a straight line.
if the height is h, then
sin50° = h/300
h = 300 sin 50 = .... ft
