number of white --- x
number of red ---- x+220
number of yellow ---- (1/3)x
total = x + x+220 + x/3
= 7/3 x + 220
number of white beads is 24% of the total number of beads
----> x = .24(7/3 x + 220)
x = .56x + 52.8
.44x = 52.8
x = 120 beads
