If vector sv = vector tu, and vector u is not parallel to vector v, what are vector s and vector t?

Assuming that s and t are scalars , or else your statement makes no sense
we conclude that if
vector sv = vector tu
s vector v = t vector u
vector v = (t/s)vector u
that is is , vector v is a scalar multiple of vector u, and the two
vectors must be parallel.
BUT, you said they were not.

So vector v and vector u must be zero vectors
