for the following system of equuations,what is the x-value of the solution
-x=2y=6
6y=x+18

Taking your post at face value:
-x=2y=6
so from 2y=6 , we get y = 3,
then -x = 2y
x = -2y
x = -6

test that in the second equation:
LS = 6y = -36
RS = x+18 = -6+18 ≠ -36
