A mixture of kclo3 and kcl mass 2.1g undergoes decomposition and residue of mass 1.62g remained calculate the mass percentage of kcl in the mixture?

KClO3 decomposes on heating to KCl + O2. KCl does not decompose.
mm stands for molar mass
2KClO3 ==> 2KCl + 3O2
You need two equations to solve this.
Let X = mass KClO3 initially
and Y = mass KCl initially. You solve for this.

X + Y = 2.1 g (I suppose that's 2.10)
equation 2:
X(mm KCl/mm KClO3) + Y = 1.62 g
Solve for Y = grams KCl initially.
