according to the definition of an AP
2p-2 - (2p+1) = 4p-3 - (2p - 2)
-3 = 2p -1
2p = -2
p = -1
check: if p = -1, the terms are
-1, -4, -7 , which form an AP
2p-2 - (2p+1) = 4p-3 - (2p - 2)
-3 = 2p -1
2p = -2
p = -1
check: if p = -1, the terms are
-1, -4, -7 , which form an AP
