Question
Ann and Bob start moving from the same location. Bob starts moving 3 seconds after Ann. Ann moves East at a speed of 6 feet/sec. Bob moves South at a speed of 5 feet/sec. Find the distance between Ann and Bob 9 sec after Ann starts moving
Ann(6t,0)
Bob(-5t,45)
this is all I have

If so, you should see a right-angled triangle, where we need the hypotenuse.
after 9 sec, Ann went 9s(6 ft/s) = 54 ft
after 6 sec, Bob went 6s(5 ft/s) = 30 ft
D^2 = 54^2 + 30^2 = 3816
D = √3816 ft = appr 61.77 ft
