Imagine a hollow tube of length 310 m and diameter 30 cm that is placed vertically next a tower . From the top of the tube you drop a marble. The air in the tube is stationary. If the ball is released exactly in the centre of the top end, will it land exactly in the centre of

Close enough. I do not think that there is such a thing as "exact" in the world of experimental physics.
