If the distance moved in 2sec is 8 then calculate the distance moved in 3sec

d = rate x time for #1 then
#1 is 8 = rate x 2sec so rate = 8/2 = 4
For #2 d = 4*3 = 12 with the same units as 8. Another way is
8 units x 3/2 = 12 units.
