Acar accidentally rolls off acliff as it leaves the cliff it has as horizontal velocity of 15m/s it hits the ground 45m from edge of the sea what is the height of cliff?(use g=10m/s square)

Use horizontal motion to find the time, t, it took the car to fall:
t = 45 m / 15 m/s = 3 s
Use vertical motion to find the height of the cliff, d:
d = vit + (1/2)at ²
d = 0 + (1/2)(10 m/s ²)(3 s) ²
d = 45 m
