A student is keeping track of the type of shows students wear. For each pair of Jordans the student sees, he sees 3 pairs of Crocs. How many pairs of Jordans did the student observe if there were 18 pairs of Crocs?

Jordans : Crocs = 1 : 3 = x : 18

1/3 = x/18
3x = 18
x = 6
