27 isn't a perfect square so I'm not sure how to go about this problem?

learn these two:
a^3 + b^3 = (a+b)(a^2 - ab + b^2)
a^3 - b^3 = (a-b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)

(you can verify by expanding the right side of each formula given)

= (3x)^3 + 2^3
= (3x + 2)((x^2 - 6x + 4)
