                I need the perimeter to a trapazoid
A(-2,5) B(8,5) C(-4,-1) D(4,8)
the area is 45
perimeter is supposed to equal 31.4
am I doing something wrong I got 42.14 instead of 31.4 someone give me the answer please

AD = √45
BC = √180
AC = √40
BD = √25
The altitude is √20, so
area = (√45+√180)/2 * √20 = 45
perimeter = √45 + √180 + √40 + √25 = 31.449
