Find all excluded values for the expression.
That is, find all values of 'y' for which the expression is undefined.
y^2 - 7y - 8 over y^2 - 8y + 12 (this is written as a fraction)
THANK YOU!

since division by zero is undefined, you must exclude any values of y where the denominator is zero
y^2-8y+12 = (y-2)(y-6)
so exclude 2 and 6.
y^2-8y+12 = (y-2)(y-6)
so exclude 2 and 6.
