If the 5 N is in the x direction then put the 4 N at 60 deg above x axis.
X component of resultant = 5 + 4 cos 60 = 7 N
Y component of resultant = 4 sin 60 = 3.46 N
magnitude = sqrt ( 49 + 12) = 7.81 N
tan angle above x axis = 3.46 / 7
so angle = 26.3 degrees above x axis
