Box A and Box B contained only white and dark chocolates. The ratio of the number of white chocolates to the number of dark chocolates in box A was 4: 5. The ratio of the number of white chocolates to the number of dark chocolates in box B was 3 : 2. The ratio of the number of dark chocolates in box A to the number of white chocolates in box B was 1 : 2. There were 104 more dark chocolates in box B than the number of white chocolates in box A. What was the total number of chocolates in the 2 boxes at first?

Box A has 4x white and 5x dark
Box B has 3y white and 2y dark
5x/3y = 1/2
2y = 104 + 4x
x=39, y=130
total chocolates: 9*39 + 5*130 = 1001
