(3x-2)/8 = 8x + 5x/2
let's assume so.
multiply each term by 8, the LCD
3x - 2 = 64x + 20x
3x - 64x - 20x = 2
-81x = 2
x = - 2/81
that answer suggests you meant something else
if so, retype your problems and somebody will look at it
