3/5 of Adam's savings is equal to 2/3 of Ben savings. The difference in their savings is equal to 1/5 of Cory's savings. Given that Adam saves $35 more than Cory, how much must Ben give to Cory so that both of them have the same amount of savings?

3/5 a = 2/3 b
b-a = 1/5 c
a = c+35
solve, and you see that Ben has 63 and Cory has 35.
So now finish it off. You want x such that
63-x = 35+x
b-a = 1/5 c
a = c+35
solve, and you see that Ben has 63 and Cory has 35.
So now finish it off. You want x such that
63-x = 35+x
