The Period T of a Conical Pendulum is of 1.1s (the conical pendulum consists of a mass connected to the end of a rope that spins forming a figure of an inverted cone). If the radius of the spin is of 23.7 cm determine the centripetal acceleration of the mass that spins at the end of the rope.

R = 0.237 cm
v = distance /time = circumference C / 1.1 second
C = 2 pi R = 2 * 3.14 * 0.237 = 1.49 meters
so
v = 1.49 / 1.1 = 1.35 meters / second
Ac = v^2/R = 1.35^2 / 0.237 = 7.72 m/s^2
