                Year
Number of Students-
2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016
50 85 120 155 190 225 260
This pattern has been continued every year thereafter.
In the patter I realised they kept adding 35 to the number behind it.
Question: What was the average number of students enrolled between 2010 and 2012 inclusively?

To find the average you have to add the numbers then divide by the amount of number like this
50+155=205
205/2=102.5
answer 102.5 students

2010-2012 is three years, so the average is
(50+85+120)/3 = 85

(50+85+120)/3 = 85

I was wrong, he was right. he put a 3, because it is 3 years total (2010-2011-2012) 1, 2, 3. I learnt to count like a week ago. you should know this.

They were finding the average number, out of those selected numbers. So you would add all the numbers up then divide that sum by the amount of number selected. so dividing it by 3 would get your average.
